Project Overview
180China’s Shanghai branch focuses on professional services and design. It was launched to support the dynamic, creative workflows of its design-focused teams. Designed by interior studio HTD, the space emphasizes flexible, mood-aligned environments that encourage collaboration, ideation, and informal creative exchange.
Our role went beyond functional design—ensuring each furniture element aligned with 180China’s creative ethos, reinforced HTD’s curated aesthetic for the Shanghai branch, and supported an idea-driven workspace tailored to design professionals.

Interior Vision
With floor-to-ceiling windows framing the Shanghai skyline, the space balances openness with warmth through neutral upholstery, light wood finishes, and layered lighting. The layout integrates group work areas, smaller discussion zones, and lounge spaces to support different collaboration needs.
UFOU’s furniture was selected to align with this vision, combining functional flexibility with the space’s modern character.

UFOU Furniture Integration
Meeting Rooms
UFOU’s furniture adapts to varied meeting room aesthetics, integrating naturally with HTD’s design schemes across different interior styles.
- Supports multiple meeting formats, from large conference rooms with reconfigurable long tables and caster-equipped chairs to compact huddle rooms for small-group discussions.
- Features slim-framed, clean-lined furniture that maintains an understated, space-friendly aesthetic.
- Incorporates practical elements such as mobile seating to enable quick layout adjustments during collaborative sessions.

Intimate Flexible Work Zones
These flexible work zones support quiet focus, small huddles, and brainstorming, with UFOU’s furniture tailored to each function.
- In focus booths, high-upholstered partition seating and compact table–stool sets reduce distractions for individual work and private conversations.
- Small huddle areas use enclosed sofa-and-table arrangements to encourage informal collaboration.
- Ideation nooks feature circular tables and lightweight chairs that align with the space’s creative character and overall design language.

Lounge & Social Areas
These lounge areas support casual relaxation, informal discussion, and team interaction, with UFOU’s furniture balancing comfort, flexibility, and visual cohesion.
- Low-profile upholstered sofas and lightweight tables accommodate casual gathering and small-group use, while window-side bar-height seating activates skyline-facing areas.
- Color-accented chairs introduce energy, complemented by soft wood finishes that align with the overall design language.
