Project Overview
Shore Hire’s Australian head office is a 2024 headquarters project for the construction sector, recorded at approximately 10,000 square metres. The available project photography highlights a workplace shaped around professional meeting settings and a restrained material palette.
Furniture is integrated as part of the architectural composition: long tables, closely spaced meeting chairs and dark finishes create rooms that feel purposeful, ordered and ready for team discussion.

Interior Vision
Dark timber flooring and table surfaces give the meeting areas depth, while translucent glazing draws soft daylight into the rooms. Black frames, linear lighting and muted upholstery reinforce a precise, contemporary character.
The result is formal without feeling severe. Subtle changes in texture—from timber grain to upholstered seating—add comfort while preserving the clarity of the space.

Furniture Integration
Boardroom setting
- A long meeting table supports larger group sessions and clear sightlines.
- Upholstered chairs soften the dark architectural palette.
- Slim chair frames maintain visual lightness around the table.
Spatial alignment
- Furniture proportions respond closely to the room geometry.
- Dark surfaces connect with the floor and framing details.
- Consistent spacing creates a calm, disciplined meeting environment.

Result
The workplace demonstrates how a limited set of materials and carefully proportioned furniture can create a strong professional identity. Meeting spaces remain visually composed while supporting the practical needs of group work and decision-making.
Yuulyn Insights
- In executive meeting spaces, proportion and spacing are as important as the individual furniture pieces.
- Translucent boundaries can preserve privacy while allowing daylight to support the room.
- Restrained palettes benefit from tactile variation in timber, upholstery and metal details.
